Who am I?
I’m Steff, a former primary school teacher with extensive experience across the entire primary phase, as well as within the education department of local government. I previously served as Head of English and remain a passionate educator.
I’m deeply enthusiastic about all things learning and love helping children unlock their full potential. My goal is to enrich and encourage learners of all abilities, while providing tailored support for any additional needs your child may have.
What I offer
Bespoke online tuition designed to develop your child as a learner and maximise their potential for success.
My specialty lies in the primary phase, with a particular focus on the 11+ (Kent Test). However, I also offer catch-up tuition for Key Stages 1–3 (Years 1–9), if required.
My Kent Test tuition emphasises content mastery, exam technique, and building resilience.
Please complete the enquiry form below, and I’ll be in touch shortly.
Kind words
-
My standard pricing is £40 per 50 minute session. I can accommodate group sessions - just get in touch!
-
I have an enhanced DBS check.
-
Your child will need an email account to access the virtual tuition, ideally a gmail account. This would enable them to also access the Google Classroom for any follow-up resources. They would need access to a device with a webcam and microphone, ideally a laptop (as handy as they are, phones are not ideal!)
It is important that they have suitable equipment for Maths, including pencil, ruler and a plain squared book. For English, they will need a lined book/lined paper.
-
My tuition room is in the works currently and it won’t be long until this is a service that I can offer.
-
I completely understand that some children may be nervous, or require help with technology, so initially, you are completely welcome to sit with them during their sessions if you feel this is necessary. I aim to build rapport and resilience so that they feel comfortable accessing the sessions so that they can do their best learning.

Preparation can start as young as Y2, but I personally would recommend Y3 or Y4 at the earliest.
